法国著名时装设计师斯蒂芬·罗兰 (Stephane Rolland) 2007年推出自己的同名高级定制时装品牌。斯蒂芬·罗兰 (Stephane Rolland) 先生曾是法国高级定制时装领域至尊的让·路易·雪莱 (Jean-Louis Scherrer) 的招牌设计师，出身贵族的斯蒂芬·罗兰 (Stephane Rolland) 血液里面流淌的就是一种优雅高贵的气质，他喜欢在设计中注入新鲜的元素，让奢华的高级定制服平添更多时尚感。
设计师斯蒂芬·罗兰 (Stephane Rolland) 1967年出生于法国南部，他的成长过程曾居住过不少国家：阿根廷、巴拉圭和法属西印度群岛。斯蒂芬·罗兰 (Stephane Rolland) 在巴黎时装公会学校 (Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne) 接受了时装设计的教育；20岁时，斯蒂芬·罗兰 (Stephane Rolland) 在巴黎世家 (Balenciage) 旗下设计男装，一年之内就被提拔为创意总监。24岁时，斯蒂芬·罗兰 (Stephane Rolland) 离开巴黎世家 (Balenciage)，开始了独立的高级成衣设计，一年之内即大获成功，80多家精品时装店以及国际品牌百货店都采购了斯蒂芬·罗兰 (Stephane Rolland) 的时装。
斯蒂芬·罗兰 (Stephane Rolland) 对电影与戏剧有着火一般的热情，他同时也投入了戏剧服的设计，2006年与2007年，斯蒂芬·罗兰 (Stephane Rolland) 被提名著名的“莫里哀奖”(Molière Award) 戏服设计奖，并成为戛纳电影节 (Cannes Film Festival) 的官方合作伙伴。
之后，斯蒂芬·罗兰 (Stephane Rolland) 又开始了新的更高难度的挑战：高级定制时装。这时他刚刚30岁，他选择了去让·路易·雪莱 (Jean-Louis Scherrer) 高级定制时装屋-，从此成为巴黎蒙田大道 (Avenue Montaigne) 上最年轻的高级定制服设计师。
在让·路易·雪莱 (Jean-Louis Scherrer) 高级定制时装屋旗下工作了整整10年之久后，2007年7月2日，设计师斯蒂芬·罗兰 (Stephane Rolland) 在巴黎举办了他的第一场高级时装秀，同时，他在巴黎乔治五世大道10号 (10 avenue George V) 开创了自己的同名高级时装屋。从此，斯蒂芬·罗兰 (Stephane Rolland) 成为代表着先锋摩登气质的高级定制品牌。斯蒂芬·罗兰 (Stephane Rolland) 高级定制服的设计，深受建筑美学，特别是英国女建筑大师Zaha Hadid的影响，同时带有明显的中东风情以及70年代风格，也是他的招牌式设计。
