According to data released by Forbes on May 16, American businessman, author, politician, and philanthropist Michael Bloomberg is the world's richest person in the clean energy sector, with a net worth of US$48.5 billion.
Elon Musk, Founder, CEO and CTO of SpaceX, and co-founder, CEO, and product architect of Tesla Inc., ranks second, with a net worth of US$15.3 billion, followed by Aloys Wobben, founder and owner of Enercon, with a net worth of US$8.1 billion.
