埃及吉萨金字塔景区首家观景餐厅于10月20日夜间开张。
Dubbed "9 PyramidsLounge," therestaurantcoversanareaof 1,341 squaremetersandoverlooksthepyramids. "Oneoftheproblemsalwaysfacedispeoplesaytherearenospecialservicesfortourists, thatthereisnocafeteria, norestaurant, nothingthatcanbeofferedtovisitors," saidMostafaWaziri, SecretaryGeneraloftheSupremeCouncilofAntiquities.
餐厅名为“九金字塔休息室”，面积1341平方米，可以远眺吉萨金字塔。埃及最高文物委员会秘书长穆斯塔法·瓦齐里说：“吉萨金字塔景区游客经常抱怨景区服务不周，没有快餐厅、没有餐厅，不能向游客提供任何服务，这是我们面临的一大问题”。

此外，景区还将为游客配备数辆新型环保巴士，引导游客游览吉萨高原。这些新设施便于拆装，以保护文物。瓦齐里表示，新的露天餐厅可以让顾客看到“金字塔全景，这是世界其他地方都难以匹敌的”。
