LONDON, Dec. 21 -- PremierLeagueclubEvertonannouncedonSaturdaythatCarloAncelottihasbeenappointedastheteam'snewmanagerandtheItalianwilltakeuphisnewrolefromSunday.
Ancelotti, 60, hasagreedafour-and-a-half-yeardealwithEvertonafterbeingsackedbySerieAclubNapoliearlierthismonth. HisfirstmatchasEverton'scoachwillbethevisitofBurnleyonDecember 26.
