TheCatalanclubhasmadethe 28-year-oldaprimetransfertarget, alongwithParisSaint-Germain'sMarcoVerratti.
InaninterviewwithBrazil'sGloboesporte, PaulinhosaidhisagentGiulianoBertolucciisnegotiatingwithBarcelonaofficials.
"I'mreallyproudthatagreatclublikeBarcelonaareinterestedinme, thereisnopriceforthat," Paulinhosaid.
Despitebeing "flattered" byBarcelona'sinterest, PaulinhosaidhewasunsureifareturntoEuropeanfootballwouldbethebestcareermove.
BeforejoiningGuangzhouEvergrandein 2017, PaulinhospenttwoseasonsatTottenhamHotspur, thelastofwhichsawhimmakeonlysevenstarts.
