      Indianwomenstillrepresentaverysmallnumberofthewinedrinkersinthecountry. Buttheirnumbersaregrowingmorethantwiceasfastasmen.

      Thereareseveralreasonsforthis. Oneisthatmorewomenhavejoinedtheworkforceinthelasttenyears, andhaveindependentincomes. InbigcitieslikeDelhiandMumbai, womenbuyingwineorhavingadrinkisnolongerconsideredunacceptable.
