On Tuesday, the China Coast Guard announced that the Fujian Coast Guard conducted routine law enforcement patrols in the waters near Jinmen on the same day.

In a statement, the China Coast Guard noted that since June, the Fujian Coast Guard has organized fleets to continuously strengthen law enforcement patrols in the waters near Jinmen, further enhancing control over the relevant maritime areas.

These patrols effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests, as well as the safety of life and property, of Chinese fishermen, including those from Taiwan, ensuring the normal navigation and operational order in the waters between Xiamen and Jinmen, the statement said.
