Theywerestarsinawaythattheydemonstratedthebestofhumanbeings; theydemonstrateddetermination; theydemonstratedwhatyoucanachieveifyouwantto. Theyalsodemonstratedthattheyarenotsimplyrefugeesbutthattheyarehumanbeings; theyareathleteswhoarecompetingwiththeathletesoftheother 206 NationalOlympicCommitteesonanequalplayingfield.
难民代表队的各位运动员们就是奥运比赛中的点点繁星。他们闪若群星，为我们展现了人类中最好的一面，让我们看到了他们的决心和“有志者事竟成”。他们也让我们明白，抛开难民的身份，他们不过是普通人，不过是与其他206个国家的奥林匹克选手在同一平等环境中竞赛的运动员。
