性质：又称锥式破碎机和锥形轧碎机。粗碎的一种设备。利用一直立的内圆锥体(轧头)在另一固定的外圆锥体的轧压面(轧臼)中作偏心转动而将物料轧碎。加入的物料进入机的轧压空间后，轧头在轧臼中作偏心转动，产生挤压力将小物块轧碎，同时又产生挤压弯曲力将大物块轧碎。由于利用弯曲力，可使消耗于轧碎的动能减低。与颚式压碎机相比较，优点是：(1)操作较均匀；(2)能量消耗较低；(3)生产能力较高。缺点是：(1)结构较复杂；(2)设备费用较高；(3)管理技术要求较高。适用于粗碎或中碎坚硬脆性物料。主要应用于生产能力需要特别大的场合。不适用于易堵塞轧碎机轧碎空间的韧性物料。原料必须通过电磁离析器等以除去金属硬质物料，以免损伤机件。
