BRASILIA, June 22 (Xinhua) -- Brazilian star Ronaldo said on Sunday that he expects to return to action within two or three weeks. The 31 year-old forward underwent surgery last February after re-injuring his left knee during a game with AC Milan."My knee is getting better," said Ronaldo. "I am starting my physical therapy to strengthen my knee muscles and ligaments."I plan on beginning to jog in two to three weeks and I am optimistic. I may be able to return to the sport quicker than I thought. I need to be careful, but I am eager to play," he added.Ronaldo's future at the Italian club is uncertain and there remains the possibility that he will return to his native city of Rio de Janeiro to play for his favorite team, Flamengo. However, Ronaldo said it's still too early to declare anything.
