      HesayshiscountryhasbeenlearningfromChina'sexperienceandtakingeffectivemeasurestopreventandcontrolthepandemic.
      TheheadofIran'sArmedForceshasthankedChinaforprovidingIranwithmedicalassistanceinthebattleagainstCOVID-19.
      ChinahasdispatchedseveralconsignmentsofmedicalsuppliestoIransinceFebruary 19 whenIranannouncedthefirstcasesofinfectionwiththenovelcoronavirus.
      AteamcomprisingfiveexpertsfromtheRedCrossSocietyofChinaarrivedinTehranattheendoflastmonth.
      Therearemorethan 23-thousandconfirmedcasesinIransofar, withover 8-thousandrecovered.
      TheWorldHealthOrganizationDirector-GeneraliscallingonG20 countriestojointlyaddresstheglobalshortageofpersonalprotectiveequipmentinthemidstofCOVID-19 pandemic.
      TedrosAdhanomGhebreyesussaysreportsofinfectionsamonghealthworkersareincreasing, stressingthatprotectingthemmustbeprioritized.

      Sofarmorethan 300-thousandcoronaviruscasesincludingover 14-thousanddeathshavebeenconfirmedaroundtheworld.
      ThenumberofcoronavirusinfectionsinFrancehasreachednearly 20-thousand, that'supbyover 3-thousandinoneday.
      Around 9-thousandpatientshavebeenhospitalized, including 2-thousandinintensivecareunits.
      HealthMinisterOlivierVeransaysmilitaryfacilitieshavebeenusedtoeasetheburdenofhospitalsfacingpatientcapacitysaturationduetothecoronavirusoutbreak.
