There'sagenerousamountoffabrictoconveyluxury, longslendersleevesforchicness, thecollarforglamour. Theunspokenmessageis - buythecoat, getthelifestyle. Ifonly. ThislookexemplifiesbothwhatVBlooksbestinandwhatsheisbestatdesigning – deluxetailoring. Andwhenitcomestocoats, Beckhamhasseriousgame.
当维多利亚?贝克汉姆到达机场的时候，她清楚地知道有无数的摄影机在等着她，结果她将这次旅程推向了我们难以企及的水准。当我们在行前不停担忧、提醒自己不要忘带护照的时候，她则对于着装下了很大的功夫。作为一个商业嗅觉敏锐的女商人，她的打扮常常致力于体现身材主线。 我 把这身打扮称作一个不可能的梦，它有着石头一般冷峻的魅力。虽然有光亮头发、深色眼镜、高跟鞋和一旁待命的私人飞机，但秘密真的全在那件外套上。这无疑是她自己的品牌。大量的布料来传达奢华的感觉，细长的袖子是当时的潮流，再加上一个独具魅力的衣领，要传达的信息不言而喻----购买此款外套，享受此种生活。若当真如此就好了。这身打扮不但展示了最适合辣妹的衣着，也秀出了设计方面的拿手好戏----高级成衣。对于外套来说，维多利亚?贝克汉姆还真是有两下子。

Victoria, whowasfivemonthspregnantwithHarperatthetime, stillmanagedtosticktohertrademarksmoothlineswithagentlyskimmingfrockofherowndesign. Nopatternforher, either. Thequeenofcolourblockingwenttonalinstead. Herdresswasaclassicnavy, withmatchingaccessories, includingtheChristianLouboutinplatformsthatwererarelyoffherfeet. Theonlywayyou'dknowshewasataweddingatallwasthe (navy) fascinatorperchedonherhead. Somanypeoplegetdressedassomeoneelsewhenfacedwithawedding. But, evenwiththescrutinythatcomeswithanoccasionasbigasthis, Beckhamhadthegutstowearsomethingtruetoherownstyle. Bravo.

It’sfromherdiffusionline, VictoriabyVictoriaBeckham, SS13, andit’sthedressIweartoeveryspecialoccasion, becauseit’scomfortable, itmakesmefeelfabulousanditdoesn’tneedhighheels. Inotherwords, it’smyperfectdress. Ilovethecontrastsleeves, thefittedwaistandblackskirtareflatteringwithoutscreaming “opticalillusionslimmingeffect” andthebirddesignmakesthedressinterestingwithoutbeingtooquirky. Who, adecadeago, wouldhaveeverguessedVictoriaBeckhamwouldnailthe “cutebutnotcutesy” market? NotI, forsure, butI’mgladshehas.
