Yearsoflivingtogetheratschooldispelillusionsofthiskind. Therearenogoddesseswithfreckles, pigtails, piercingvoicesandinkyfingers. Therearenoromanticheroeswithknobblyknees, dirtyfingernailsandunkempthair. Theawkwardstageofadolescencebringsintosharpfocussomeofthephysicalandemotionalproblemsinvolvedingrowingup. Thesecanbetterbeovercomeinaco-educationalenvironment.
Segregatedschoolssometimesprovidetherightconditionsforsexualdeviation. Thisishardlypossibleunderaco-educationalsystem. Whenthetimecomesforthepupilstoleaveschool, theyarefullypreparedtoentersocietyaswell-adjustedadults.
Theyhavealreadyhadyearsofexperienceincopingwithmanyoftheproblemsthatfacemenandwomen.
