Rowers tackle river in annual Foshan dragon boat race

The annual dragon boat drifting race was held at a narrow and winding river in Diejiao Town, Foshan City, south China's Guangdong Province on Saturday to greet the Dragon Boat Festival which falls on Monday this year. The race is the first of a four-day boat racing event where contestants tackle S-, C- and L-shaped and straight tracks over 650 meters in length. It's a tough challenge given that the average width of such tracks is no more than 5 meters.
