Afewteachers, therefore, suggestthattheuniversityauthoritiesrestorethetraditionalregulationagainstloveduringstudents' schoolyears .
Onthecontrary, studentsholdthatitisnaturalforyoungpeopletofallinloveonthecampusbecausetheymeeteverydayandtheireverydaymeetingproducesromanticpassiontowardseachother. TheyinsistthatthecampusisnottheGardenofEdenandloveisnottheForbiddenTree. Theytakeforexamplesomeoftheirfriendswho, fallinginlove, arestudyingharderandhavemadegreaterprogresstopleasetheirboy/girlfriends .
Inmyopinion, bothviewsarelop-sided. Ifastudentdoesnotgivehimself/herselfawayinlovebuttakesitasadrive, loveproducespositiveeffect. Butifhe/sheindulgeshimself/ herselftoodeeplyinlove, thenhe/shewillbeadevotedloverbutafrustratedlearner.
