武夷星茶业有限公司成立于2001年10月，是集福建乌龙茶、绿茶、花茶、白茶、红茶等茶类，特别是武夷岩茶的生产、加工、销售、科研及茶文化传播于一体的农业产业化国家重点龙头企业。

位于武夷山九曲溪四曲之畔公司所属的武夷山市茶叶研究所，栽培有包括大红袍、白鸡冠、铁罗汉、水金龟等近百种武夷名枞，是进行武夷岩茶优良品种无性系繁育、新品种、新技术开发的茶叶育种园。公司以茶科所为主导，依托福建农林大学的有机茶生产技术和福建省茶叶研究所的茶树病虫害有机防治技术,在茶叶的生长、加工过程中不施用任何人工合成的化肥农药、植物生长调节剂、化学食品添加剂等，保证茶叶生长环境完全符合有机茶的标准，并通过了中绿华夏有机食品认证中心、杭州中农质量认证中心、瑞士IMO有机认证中心（美国NOP、日本JAS、欧盟EEC）认证及中国良好农业规范（GAP+）认证。
Our tea research institute is located beside the forth corner of JiuQu river where nearly one hundred kinds of Wuyi Ming Chong include such as DaHongPao, BaiJiGuan, TieLuoHang, ShuiJinGui. It is a breeding area for exploring new variety& technology of Wuyi Rock-essence Tea. In order to cultivate the organic tea, we also introduce in the technology of organic tea production from FuJian Agricultural and Forestry University and anti-pest technology from FuJian Provincial Tea Research Institute. We have obtained the international certificate of COFFCC, OTRDC, IMO(Include NOP,JAS and EEC) and China Good Agricultural Practice.
此外，公司注重技术研发与创新，成立了福建武夷岩茶行业技术创新中心为主体的研究系统，拥有武夷山市茶叶研究所、新产品开发中心、茶饼研发中心和茶叶农残及理化指标检测检验中心等产品研发与检测机构，承担武夷岩茶科技研发创新各项方面工作的开展。通过产、学、研联合， 科学有效地带动公司农业产业化经营深入发展。
Also we pay a large attention to the technology innovation, so analysis system based on Fujian Wuyi Rock-essence Tea Industry Technology Innovation Center is founded, which has the branches as WuYiShan Tea Research Center, New Product Exploitation Center, Tea Brick Research Center and Remained Pesticide Physical Analysis Inspection Center, with the method of combining the production, study, research together which make a deeply industrialization development of agriculture management.

As the exclusive agent for managing and processing the original tea trees of Da Hong Pao, Wu Yi Star has developed a strict management system, concentrating in particular on the quality and sanitation of its products. Everyone personnel pay a large attention and high quality standard to our product whatever they were in tea garden or customers drink, also followed feedback. That is the insistent requirement of production and management. The company has independent import and export operation rights of tea, we have obtained the international certificate of ISO9001, HACCP, and the cultivation base also gets the certificate of QS and got a registration for CIQ export inspection.

In the company of all colleagues work together and government departments, guidance and support, the brand “Wu Yi Star” were the only of Fujian to be named as one of “China’s name-brand farm products” and accredited as the most popular tea product countrywide by the Three Green project office of the State Department. Furthermore, our tea products accredited the licensee as a special supplier to Diao Yu Tai State Guest Hotel, a facility that hosted world leaders visiting China.
